Sofitel Mumbai BKC, the prestigious luxury hotel nestled in Mumbai’s bustling Bandra Kurla Complex, proudly announces the appointment of Viraj Kadam as their newly appointed Executive Housekeeper.

Viraj embarked on his professional journey in 2010 at The Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport, where he served as Assistant Housekeeping Manager. His dedication and expertise led him to his most recent position as Executive Housekeeper at The Westin Mumbai Garden City in 2017, before joining the esteemed Sofitel Mumbai BKC family.

Throughout his career, Viraj has played a pivotal role in team training, seamless room handovers with operations departments, enforcement of loss prevention policies, supervision of daily shift operations, and ensuring exceptional customer service. He has demonstrated a keen understanding of financial management, analyzing monthly MIS reports with a focus on budgets and actual consumption. Collaborating closely with the HR department, Viraj has supported training initiatives for both current and new associates.

Viraj’s outstanding achievements include attaining a remarkable BSA (Brand Standard Audit) score of 100.8% in 2023 at his previous role. Recognized as a Master Certified Departmental Trainer by APEC L&D, he brings two years of valuable experience in spa and rooms management. Viraj’s commitment to excellence is further highlighted by his consistent recognition as Manager of the Month/Year at his previous positions.

Outside the professional realm, Viraj channels his passion for dance, achieving Level 02 certification at the renowned Shiamak Davar Institute of Dance Academy. His multifaceted skills and proven track record make him an invaluable addition to the Sofitel Mumbai BKC team, ensuring continued excellence in guest experiences and hospitality.
