In a strategic move to bolster its expansion initiatives in India, Radisson Hotel Group has officially announced the signing of a 150-room Radisson Blu Hotel in Ayodhya. This greenfield project, developed by Jeewani Hospitality in collaboration with EaseMyTrip, is slated to open its doors to guests in 2027. Marking the group’s second venture in Ayodhya, following the opening of Park Inn by Radisson Ayodhya in January 2024, this investment underscores Radisson Hotel Group’s commitment to harnessing the historical and cultural significance of the city.
Strategically situated within two kilometers of Shri Ram Mandir, Ayodhya, the hotel enjoys proximity to Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, Ayodhya Railway Station, and seamless connectivity via National Highway-27. This prime location not only ensures excellent visibility for the hotel but also provides effortless access to key religious sites within 2-5 kilometers, including Hanuman Ghari, Kanak Bhawan, Nageshwarnath Temple, and Treta Ke Thakur. Such positioning positions the hotel to cater to the substantial demand from devotees, pilgrims, and tourists visiting Ayodhya.
K B Kachru, Chairman Emeritus and Principal Advisor, South Asia, Radisson Hotel Group, expressed the significance of this milestone in the group’s expansion strategy, emphasizing Ayodhya’s appeal as a promising market. He stated, “Ayodhya stands strong as a promising market for Radisson Hotel Group, occupying a significant position in our expansion plans in 2024 and beyond.”
Scheduled to open in two phases, Radisson Blu Hotel, Ayodhya, will redefine the city’s hospitality landscape. With a total inventory of 150 rooms, the hotel promises a seamless blend of opulence and comfort for its guests. From culinary venues to recreational facilities such as a swimming pool, fitness center, spa, and expansive banquet halls, the hotel positions itself as an ideal choice for both corporate events and social gatherings.
Nishant Pitti, CEO & Co-Founder of EaseMyTrip and an investor in Jeewani Group, expressed excitement about the collaboration, emphasizing their commitment to enhancing hospitality offerings in Ayodhya. He said, “By joining forces, we aim to set new benchmarks in the hospitality industry and create a landmark destination in Ayodhya.”
Dhruv Jeewani, Director of Jeewani Hospitality, echoed the sentiment, stating, “We are confident that this property will become an iconic landmark in the city,” as they collaborate with the globally renowned Radisson Hotel Group to deliver a world-class hospitality experience.
