Global hospitality group Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Rohit Pandey as the General Manager of Anantara Jaipur Hotel, slated to launch later this year as the luxury brand’s inaugural venture in India.
Pandey, formerly the Hotel Manager at The Leela Bhartiya City Bengaluru, brings over two decades of extensive experience to his new role. He played a pivotal role in the pre-opening team of the five-star property, where he spearheaded revenue-driving strategies, conceptualized food and beverage offerings, and led the recruitment of the hotel team.
With a career that spans renowned hospitality brands including Marriott International, Centara Hotels & Resorts, Dusit Thani Hotels & Resorts, One & Only Resorts, Aman Resorts, Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Taj Hotels, and Minor Hotels’ Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas and Avani Hotels & Resorts, Pandey is a seasoned professional in pre-opening endeavors. He has held various food and beverage and operations roles across hotels and resorts in India, the Maldives, Seychelles, and Thailand.
A graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology in Gwalior, India, Pandey will lead the launch and positioning of Minor Hotels’ first Anantara property in India. Collaborating with Amir Golbarg, Senior Vice President – Middle East, Africa and India, and Vijay Krishnan Vazhvelil, Vice President – Operations, India, Pandey is set to play a key role in delivering authentic and unforgettable experiences for Anantara guests, immersing them in the excitement and rich heritage that Jaipur has to offer.
