Born on June 8, 1982, Gaurahari Rana is a 2005 graduate of the Central Institute of Hotel Management, Bhubaneswar. In his current role as the Director of Services at J W Marriott Hotel, Kolkata, Rana oversees a diverse range of responsibilities. This includes managing staff providing supportive services to clients, coordinating efforts of social workers and staff, and ensuring the seamless implementation of new programs based on client needs. His leadership extends to maintaining accurate client progress records, addressing complaints, and developing pricing structures for services.
Prior to joining J W Marriott Hotel, Kolkata, Rana held significant roles in other prestigious establishments. He served as the Director of Services at The Westin, Goa, from January 2021 to December 2023. Before that, he held the position of Executive Housekeeper at W Goa and Assistant Executive Housekeeper at St. Regis Mumbai.
