Hailing from Rome, Italy, Maida’s professional journey has spanned across renowned international hubs such as Dubai, Hong Kong, and Singapore. His diverse background encompasses business planning, consultation & training, distribution management, and event management, underscoring his multifaceted skill set.

Throughout his career, Maida has collaborated with esteemed establishments including Culina at COMO Dempsey and Ferrari Food+Wine, focusing on staff training and the curation of exceptional wine lists. As a certified sommelier holding diplomas from the Italian Sommelier Association (AIS) and the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) Level 3, Maida is dedicated to furthering his expertise by pursuing his WSET Diploma.

In his new capacity, Maida assumes responsibility for developing and enhancing the resort’s extensive wine program, spanning multiple dining outlets and the meticulous maintenance of the on-site wine cellar. He is committed to conducting regular training sessions for the resort’s hosts, elevating their proficiency in wine service and knowledge. Additionally, Maida will curate engaging seminars, tasting workshops, and events, inviting guests to indulge in immersive culinary experiences.
