Liliya Feschenko – Senior Sales Manager
Liliya is a sales professional with 7 years’ experience in the corporate sector of the hospitality industry. She began her studies at Vatel, the number 1 ranked hospitality & leisure management school France, as well as their branch in USA, which specialized in American hospitality.
After university, she moved to the UAE and started her career in business development.
Liliya has worked in various international brands including Hilton (Hampton by Hilton Dubai Airport and Conrad Dubai) and Accor (Ibis Styles Dubai Airport). Liliya also gained experience in Arjaan Rotana Media City, where she enhanced her knowledge about local culture and lifestyle.
In joining Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills, Liliya is eager to increase the awareness of the hotel between the corporate sector and its corporate portfolio.
In her free time, Liliya loves to travel and explore new destinations, whilst also being a food lover.
Commenting on her new role, Lilia said, “I am very excited to join Radisson Dubai DAMAC Hills. I was impressed with the hotel, the people and the variety of the restaurants including Issei Restaurant, my new favourite. I look forward to bringing many new customers to the hotel and highlighting this special place in a beautiful area of Dubai.”
Jawad Munshi – Executive Sous Chef
Jawad commenced his professional journey in Mumbai, India, with Oberoi Hotels. After gaining great experience, he relocated to Saudi Arabia, being part of Movenpick Hotels Resort. Whilst there he experienced his first hotel pre-opening which has lead to several in his 16-year career spanning across Saudi, Qatar, UAE and Australia, with some prominent hospitality brands.
With a history of four hotel openings in the Middle East, Jawad assumed the role of Executive Sous Chef for Radisson group’s inaugural resort in the UAE at Ras Al Khaimah, drawing on his extensive experience in opening large-scale Hotels & Resorts. From here the Radisson Group was where he wanted to continue and the move to Dubai suited all parties.
Jawad has been honoured as one of India’s finest chefs by WG magazine around the globe, sharing the recognition with Michelin-star chefs worldwide. Guided by the “Yes I Can” spirit, he is excited to join Radisson group’s DAMAC Hills property.
Jawad commented, “I have found Radisson to be a great company to work for and am excited to continue my development with this cool hotel. The range of cuisines to work with in the 4 restaurants as well as the future developments of our outdoor catering was a very exciting prospect and I look forward to delivering quality food to all our guests.”
In his leisure time, Jawad enjoys extended drives in the UAE, exploring the natural beauty of different Emirates and beyond. A game of chess is his preferred way to refresh his mind after work, which also helps in fostering his creative thinking!
Kevin Philip – Assistant Safety & Security Manager
Kevin is a Security Professional from Kenya with over 13 years of Experience in the Middle East. Kevin has a strong background related to Safety and Security, Loss Prevention and Risk Management. His experience has involved people management, supervision and training along with a firm knowledge of Facility Management.
Kevin began his Middle Eastern career at Regency Intercontinental Hotel, Bahrain as a security officer. From there he moved to Divan Hotel and Resort in Northern Iraq (Erbil-Kurdistan) as a Security Supervisor, wherein he was promoted to Assistant Security Manager. His career went from strength to strength as he moved back to Reef Resort, Bahrain as an assistant security Manager before moving to JW Marriott Marquis Dubai to hone his skills in big Dubai property. Kevin spent over 3 years there before he joined Radisson DAMAC Hills in the capacity of Assistant Safety and Security Manager. At the Radisson DAMAC Hills Kevin will look after the 481 room hotel, 4 restaurants as well as the DAMAC Hills Community.
Kevin explained, “I wanted to branch out and experience new areas of Dubai and this role has given me a wonderful opportunity. The hotel has numerous sports groups of all ages and nationalities whilst the mix of business varies to my previous roles, which is great for my development and interaction. I look forward to keeping the Radisson DAMAC Hills a safe place to stay and providing guests with a memorable stay.”
Out of work Kevin has played rugby internationally for the Iraq National team and is a frequent player at the Dubai 7s.
Kevin is a big gym shark and has great knowledge of nutrition and fitness. Kevin enjoys mixed martial arts and experiencing new destinations.
