Leisure Hotels Group announces key appointments bolstering its Corporate Team 

New Delhi, 26th July, 2023: Leisure Hotels Group (LHG), an experiential luxury resort chain in North India and the largest across the state of Uttarakhand has appointed Mr. Arun Paliwal and Mr. Kumud Joshi as their Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) and Head – Learning & Development (L&D) respectively to further strengthen and nurture key talent across its verticals.

An ardent HR professional, Arun has a rich experience of over 15 years in the industry. Prior to joining Leisure Hotels Group, he has been associated with many leading hospitality brands such as Oberoi Hotels & Resorts, Lemon Tree Hotels, and Intercontinental Hotel Group (IHG). Most recently, Arun was leading the HR functions at Six Senses Vana, Dehradun as their Director of Human Resources.    

Arun holds a master’s in business administration (M.B.A) degree from ICFAI National College, Udaipur and has a proven track record in effective talent management for the organisation’s steady growth. He has vast experience in nurturing talent including employees with special abilities. He is steadfast on developing a healthy work environment to enhance employee efficiency & lifecycle.  

Kumud will take over the Learning & Development team and has a meritorious experience having worked with some of the renowned hospitality brands such as Hyatt Regency (New Delhi), The Leela Hotels & Resorts (Goa), Marriott International (Pune), Academy of Culinary Arts (Kathmandu) and Frankfinn (Pune). With a diverse career spanning over 15 years in the industry, his valuable expertise and an excellent foundation in hotel operations and hospitality training make him the ideal choice for this important role.  

Born and brought up in Uttarakhand, Kumud comes with a strong education background, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from IGNOU and a Hotel Management graduate from the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Lucknow. In his new role at Leisure Hotels Group, he will be responsible for developing and executing strategies that track and assess the learning curve of all employees and bridge any gaps with custom training programs.
