More so in the Salt Lake area there was always a need for a cafe designed specifically for a generation to sit there and use free WiFi, use it as a place to meet socially. The urge to congregate over a cup of coffee at a café still continues as they have become the present-day brewing point for cultural dialogues and exchanges. Salt lake always longed for a cafe that attracts coffee aficionados, university students and weekday workers with laptops while families can cherish their breakfasts and an all day coffee and food paired menu.
And what better way to celebrate a year of strong connection developed by our brand serving freshly roasted handcrafted coffee to our patrons then taking it a step closer to our coffee connoisseurs in salt lake area. In a short span of time we have built a strong and loyal customer base of clients from salt lake area visiting our Ballygunge Park Experience Centre and hence the need to build a similar intimate and incomparable multisensory experience serving our signature fusion coffee handcrafted drinks paired with continental food and freshly baked treats from our inhouse bakery & confectionary. While the main bar offers our regular and signature beverages the manual brewing bar at the terrace offers an experience where guests can chat with the baristas understanding the nuances of coffee roasting and manual brewing methods like syphon, pourover, turkish, frenchpress etc to name a few.
The +6000 sq feet of area handcrafted and built keeping the brand elements constant endeavours to bring customer’s ideal coffee experience to life. Complete with brand ikat patterns, handcrafted lights made by local artisans, handcrafted crockery sourced from Khurja and lush green zones created in the courtyard and terrace the architecture also has inspirations from a heritage point of view but with an eccentric twist in its contemporary colour palette.
Besides our commitment to serve freshly roasted coffee from our own inhouse roasting unit with the launch of the salt lake experience centre we also aim to bring another element of handcrafted vegan fusion chocolate and coffee pairing through another initiative of ours called “Criollo”. The centre also has a gourmet store where trained baristas help guests pick up freshly roasted single estate coffee beans suiting their palette and grinded to their requirement, bakery products and home brewing equipments alongwith coffee based organic skincare range.
Continuing with the hub and spoke model to spread the indian origin coffee culture we have also opened a 40 seater boutique cafe in City Centre 1 mall with a live kitchen.
As a brand we will continue building on our coffee credentials across Kolkata and gradually expanding nationally in months to come
