Beginning his career at the young age of 18 years old as a restaurant owner in Portugal, he succeeded to own four restaurants by the age of 23. At the age of 28, he moved on to working with resorts and hotels as a F&B Manager for three years, before moving to the Arora Group and Legoland Hotel in the UK. After gaining substantial experience in family entertainment and day-to-day operations in the food and beverage sector, he began his journey in 2015 in the UAE’s hospitality sector.
Prior to taking on his role as a Corporate Director of Food and Beverage for Rotana, He was the Director of Food & Beverage at Grosvenor House Dubai since Jul 2021.
Since arriving in Dubai in 2015, Silva has worked as operations manager for Grosvenor House, helping in securing Toro Toro multiple awards. He has also managed the teams at Belgian Beer Café, Cargo, Maison Mathis and Le Petit Belge.
