Meg Kelley rejoins J.MAK to increase its reach to travel agents across the U.S.
J.MAK HOSPITALITY announces the addition of Meg Kelley to its sales team, to enhance its reach to travel advisors across the U.S. and to support its global portfolio of partners. J.MAK HOSPITALITY represents some of the world’s finest luxury boutique hotels, villa collections, destination management companies, and private aviation companies.
“We’ve seen incredible demand for our travel partners, and the J.MAK portfolio has grown considerably over the last year, so the time was right to expand our team again,” says founder Jon “J.MAK” Makhmaltchi.
“At J.MAK, we focus on fostering real relationships between our partners and advisor friends, so when we grow the team it’s purposeful,” says Makhmaltchi. “Meg is fantastic, and has worked with J.MAK before, so we were excited to bring her back to enhance our reach even more.”
J.MAK HOSPITALITY has made a name for itself by creating fun and innovative ways to connect with travel advisors. In 2020, Makhmaltchi made house calls in his MAK.MOBILE winnebago to advisors who suddenly found themselves working remotely. Last month “The J.MAK 1000” robot joined the team to travel to meetings and events (with Makhmaltchi broadcasting to its screen) when the rest of the team can’t be there in person.
Kelley, who will be known as MEG.KE, joins J.MAK as a 15-year veteran of the hospitality industry. She worked at J.MAK partner hotel, the Inn at Perry Cabin, as well as with other luxury brands including Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, Belmond and Sea Island Resort. Her experience on-property spans several departments – from Front Office to Operations, Catering & Conference Services to Sales – offering a well-rounded compliment to the J.MAK team.
Kelley will be based in Raleigh, North Carolina.
