Karen is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, with various leadership roles throughout the United Kingdom and Palm Beach, Florida with Four Seasons, Mandarin Oriental and The Savoy, as well as a boutique hotel in Qatar. She started her career with Marriott in 2016 as a Director of Food & Beverage at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman.
In 2018, Karen moved to the United States after accepting her most recent position of Director of Food and Beverage at Marriott Marquis Washington, D.C., where she also served as Acting Resident
Manager for six months. Karen was instrumental in driving sales through extensive outlet promotions and hotel programming. She has demonstrated very strong skills in rebranding new restaurants and bars from concept ideation, interior design, PR strategies, recruitment and training.
In 2021, Karen took on Acting General Manager’s role for The Ritz-Carlton, Pentagon City, where she assumed total responsibility for the hotel over a period of a few months, ensuring continued momentum for all projects and strategies, including a restaurant and lobby renovation. #hospitalityindustry#ritzcarlton#RCcharlotte
