How Hilton is helping travelers across the world travel more sustainably, from start to finish

Your Eco-Friendly Trip Just Got Easier in 2022

These days, there’s a lot that people are taking into consideration when planning a trip, and it goes beyond which locale they should head to first. More now than ever, travelers care about leaving a destination better than they found it. The Hilton 2022 global trends report showed that 86% of travelers want to travel more sustainably, but only half of that number manage to do so often. Given this shift, Hilton is making it easier for travelers to take an eco-friendly journey, especially if they aren’t sure where to start in terms of traveling more sustainably. From bike sharing to soap recycling to a new electric vehicle (EV) search filter, guests can feel better about taking care of the world around them while they take time for themselves. It’s all part of Hilton’s Travel With Purpose mission, to double the investment in social impact and cut environmental impact in half by 2030.

From the moment guests search for a hotel to check-out, eco-friendly trips are now more attainable. At Hilton, a new search attribute helps EV owners find and book hotels with charging stations to power up their electric vehicles, so guests can be certain that their car will recharge while they do. More than 1,400 Hilton properties around the world offer EV charging stations, as well as other eco-friendly additions that help travelers leave a smaller carbon footprint on their next adventure. Whether located on a beautiful beach or in a bustling big city, these Hilton properties make it easy to plan an eco-friendly trip in 2022.
