Conrad Dubai has brought in Kyra Bommeljé as director of food and beverage. Originally from the Netherlands, the Dutch national joins from the UAE’s own JA Resorts & Hotels where she worked in F&B for almost seven years.
Now with Hilton, she will head up concept development, planning and execution across her restaurants. She will also coordinate and manage the teams involved. Outlets include Kimpo, Cave, Ballaro, Anasa, Bliss 6 and Isla. She will also handle hotel banqueting.
Bommeljé has worked in F&B for more than 17 years, starting out with the Badhotel Domburg in the Netherlands, later moving to Starwood Hotels. There, she was assistant restaurant manager, in charge of service quality, food quality, menu development, training and guest relations.
In 2013 she moved to Dubai as the outlet manager for Jumeirah Beach Hotel. She would then move to JA Resorts & Hotels to advance her career, working as assistant F&B manager, food and beverage manager and later cluster director of food and beverage.
