Four Seasons Hotel Amman announces that Francesco Greco is the new Executive Chef overseeing all of the Hotel’s culinary operations that include La Capitale Brasserie, Olea Restaurant, The Foyer Lounge, Five Grill & Lounge, as well as in-room dining and banqueting events.
Born in Milan, Italy, Francesco has more than 30 years of experience in the culinary and hospitality industries, where he has inherited Milan’s world-renowned creativity and applied it to the art of cooking no matter where he is around the world.
His wealth of experience working at some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants across the globe includes three Michelin-starred restaurant Taillevent in Paris; the Galleria at Hotel Principe di Savoia Milan; Palladio at the Hotel Ritz Carlton Shanghai; and Michelin rated restaurants in Hong Kong and Macau.
Francesco has also worked with famous French Chefs Alain Soliveres and Christian Rassinoux, and a number of highly respected Italian chefs, such as Michelin starred Chef Paola Budel, protégé of the famous Chef Gualtiero Marchesi; and Chef Romano Resen, a legendary chef specialising in fine dining regional Italian cooking.
Prior to coming to Amman, Francesco’s most recent hospitality experience was in Indonesia where he spent more than five years as the director of culinary in charge of a French brasserie known as L’Avenue at The Hermitage Hotel.
From Paris to Shanghai, Singapore, New York, Hong Kong, Jakarta, London and now Amman, Francesco continues to deliver international cuisines, modern techniques and a fusion of creativity to the table. Living by the motto of “do what you love with all your passion,” Francesco thrives on the smiles of satisfaction on guests’ faces.
