With an illustrious career spanning over two decades in the luxury hospitality sector, Hector brings visionary leadership to Bali’s Finest Address.
Prior to joining The St. Regis Bali Resort, Hector carved his legacy as the General Manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Tianjin, and The Ritz-Carlton Executive Residences, Tianjin.
His tenure in Tianjin was marked by numerous accolades, including three consecutive Travel+Leisure awards for “Best Luxury Hotel of the Year” from 2021 to 2023.
Hector’s journey with Marriott International commenced at the sophisticated Hotel Arts Barcelona, a Ritz-Carlton hotel. Making a transformative move to Asia in 2015, he excelled as the Executive Assistant Manager for Rooms at The Ritz-Carlton, Tokyo, earning recognition as the best leader for rooms in the Asia Pacific region in 2016.
Demonstrating strategic vision and management prowess, Hector played a pivotal role in orchestrating a comprehensive renovation of a property, showcasing his unwavering commitment to excellence. His subsequent role as the Director of Luxury Openings Operations for the Asia Pacific region from 2019 to 2021 saw him spearheading the successful launch of over 20 luxury properties, including The St. Regis Hong Kong, The Ritz-Carlton Perth, The St. Regis Qingdao, and The Ritz-Carlton Nikko.
A testament to his dedication, Hector is currently pursuing an MBA, building upon his academic foundation at EHL/Hospitality Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland. An Argentine native, his career has unfolded across three continents, reflecting a rich tapestry of experiences and cultural immersion.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Hector embraces an active lifestyle, sharing outdoor activities with his family and engaging in competitive sports like tennis and swimming. His passion for exploration and languages mirrors his commitment to embracing diverse cultures.
