Kuredu Island Resort and Spa Elevates Khemraj Bhatt to Executive Chef Position

Kuredu Island Resort and Spa, a distinguished member of Crown and Champa Resorts, proudly announces the promotion of Khemraj Bhatt to the esteemed position of Executive Chef. With a remarkable culinary journey spanning over 19 years, Khemraj brings a wealth of expertise and leadership experience to this pivotal role.

Khemraj’s culinary odyssey commenced in 2004 as a Trainee at the renowned Grand Hyatt, New Delhi, followed by participation in a transformative Hotel Operational Program at Oberoi Hotels. These early experiences shaped his mindset and deepened his understanding of the intricacies of the hospitality industry.

Having held key roles such as Commis 1 at Radisson and Chef De Partie at IHG – Intercontinental Hotel Group Eros, Khemraj’s exceptional talent and dedication to culinary excellence were evident throughout his career. He further honed his skills at Hilton Hotel, India, before assuming roles of increasing responsibility at Foodhall and Kenilworth Hotels & Resorts, where he was recognized as the Best Hospitality Personality among Kolkata hotels.

Khemraj ventured into the Maldivian hospitality scene in 2019 with Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts, serving as the Executive Chef for the pre-opening of Oblu Experience Ailafushi and Oblu Select Lobigili. Joining Kuredu Island Resort and Spa as Executive Sous Chef on February 27, 2023, Khemraj showcased exemplary leadership and culinary creativity, enriching the dining experiences for guests.
