With over a decade of experience in the industry, Baz commenced his hospitality journey in Egypt in 2003 and later expanded his career internationally in Dubai, contributing to renowned establishments such as Radisson Blu and Shangri-La.
A pivotal chapter in Baz’s professional journey unfolded during his role as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Sofitel Corniche Abu Dhabi. Here, he showcased his leadership skills by spearheading the sales and marketing team, implementing effective strategies that ensured the hotel’s competitiveness and nurtured crucial relationships with stakeholders.
Baz’s impact was evident in the successful launch of new dining outlets and the rebranding of existing ones. Under his guidance, the hotel experienced growth in its corporate, leisure, and MICE portfolios, consistently surpassing both individual and team targets.
In his new role, Baz aims to employ a dynamic and strategic approach to elevate Fairmont Bab Al Bahr’s standing in the luxury hospitality market. Concentrating on corporate, leisure, and MICE sales, he plans to position the hotel as a preferred venue and optimize revenue through innovative pricing strategies.
