In celebration of International Women’s Day, Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort is proud to announce its partnership with local NGO – Nirmal Chaya, a women’s collective under the social initiative of Green India Company, to support and promote their sustainable business initiative focused on recycling. This collaboration aims to empower women in the community and foster inclusivity by providing them a platform to sell their recycled products.
Their goal is to create a sustainable, low-cost, and easily replicable system that not only helps in generating livelihood for women but also contributes to the conservation of the environment. As a part of this partnership, the resort, provided them with a counter within the resort to showcase and sell their recycled products including handicrafts, bags, and eco-friendly products. This initiative not only supports the local community but also aligns with Hyatt’s commitment to sustainability and social responsibility.
International Women’s Day is a day to celebrate the achievements of women and to advocate for gender equality and inclusivity. At Hyatt Regency Dharamshala Resort, we believe in fostering a culture of appreciation and support for our women team members and for women in the wider community. The Celebrations featured entertaining games followed by exclusive Soulfilling Tea Tales with an array of refreshments.
