The Diplomat Radisson Blu Hotel, Residence & Spa Bahrain has hired Petr Dubsky as general manager. It is Dubsky’s third stint at the hotel, previously working as F&B director and then EAM in 2014 and 2016 respectively. Dubsky has spent the last 13 years with Radisson Hotel Group, spending that time travelling the world. In just over a decade, he has held management and leadership roles across Ireland, Georgia, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia and Oman.
Dubsky, a Czech national, started his hospitality career over 10 years ago – he joined The Rezidor Hotel Group as bar manager in 2008, and then became restaurant manager at the Radisson Blu Royal Hotel Dublin, Ireland.
He has since gained experience during pre-opening of two Radisson Blu Hotels, in Poland and Nigeria. Dubsky then moved to Batumi, Georgia as food & beverage manager, as part of the pre-opening team of Radisson Blu Hotel Batumi. Two years later, he moved to the Radisson Blu Iveria Hotel Tbilisi, Georgia as F&B manager. Dubsky studied at the ECornell University to gain a Master Certificate in Hospitality Management, and speaks Czech, English and Russian.
