Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort appoints Namthip Prueksasaruay as New Chef De Cuisine – Mekong

Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Namthip Prueksasaruay as the hotel’s new chef de cuisine at the multi-award-winning venue Mekong. Spanning over 20 years of experience, Prueksasaruay is passionate about delivering excellent authentic Asian cuisine in Dubai made famous by Mekong and will thus bring forth her legacy to the Palm.

Thai national, Namthip is dedicated to instilling the utmost culinary authenticity true to Anantara’s roots. She has worked in several resort chains across the UAE including Marriot and Jumeirah, prior to her most senior post. The chef possesses over two decades of fast-paced Dubai experience and is looking to furthering the authentic Thai finesse synonymous with Anantara.

Prueksasaruay will be spearheading culinary operations served at one of the Dubai’s most ornately decorated, and authentic Asian venues, Mekong. “I am overjoyed to represent a hotel brand that is true to my roots, this opportunity feels like coming home – and I’m so glad to be able to represent the origins behind preparing the delicious dishes originating from the Far East. I look forward to sharing my expertise and embarking on my learning journey, all while creating a unique experience for guests to cherish.”
