The Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has officially declared the signing of its third hotel in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. The upcoming brownfield project is slated to be branded as an IHCL SeleQtions hotel.
Puneet Chhatwal, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer at IHCL, remarked, “This signing aligns with IHCL’s strategy to establish a significant presence in spiritual destinations. Ayodhya’s remarkable transformation into a world-class pilgrimage destination, marked by the inauguration of the Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir, is poised to attract tourists from around the world. This new addition to our hotel portfolio reflects our commitment to developing cultural circuits and itineraries, harnessing their tourism potential. IHCL will now offer three distinct brands in Ayodhya, totaling approximately 400 rooms, and we are delighted to collaborate with KM Vyapar Ltd for this SeleQtions hotel.”
The 150-key hotel, spread across 1.3 acres, is conveniently located in close proximity to the upcoming Maryada Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport and popular tourist attractions. It will boast a variety of dining options, including an all-day diner. Additional recreational facilities will include a spa, swimming pool, and fitness center. The hotel will also provide over 10,000 sq. ft of banqueting space, ideal for hosting social gatherings and corporate events.

Situated on the banks of the River Saryu, Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh holds significance as the birthplace of Lord Ram, a revered deity in Hinduism. Renowned for its ancient temples, the city is a popular pilgrimage destination.
With the inclusion of this project, IHCL will have a presence of three hotels across the SeleQtions, Vivanta, and Ginger brands in Ayodhya.
