We are delighted to announce the selection of Shweta Hinduja as the Multi-Property Director of Human Resources for JW Marriott Pune and Courtyard by Marriott Hinjewadi.
With a distinguished career spanning over 18 years in the Human Resources industry, Shweta is a seasoned professional known for her outstanding team management skills and is acknowledged as an amiable leader.
Her professional journey commenced in 2004 with Hyatt at the Hyatt Regency Mumbai hotel, where she began as a Management Trainee in Front Office. Fueled by her strong interest in talent development and people management, she evolved into the role of a Training Officer and subsequently assumed various positions within the Human Resources domain.
In 2019, she became a valuable member of the Marriott family, initially serving as the Director of Human Resources at the Sheraton Hyderabad Hotel. Progressing in her career, she took on the role of Cluster Director of Human Resources for Marriott properties owned and managed by ‘SAMHI Hotels.’
Her outstanding contributions were recognized in 2020 when she received the Marriott APEC HR Resilience Award. Additionally, she earned a nomination for the top five HR Manager of the Year at the 12th Hotelier India Awards 2021.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Shweta finds joy in traveling, exploring wildlife, and spending quality time with her family. Recently, she has added participating in marathons and tending to her home garden to her list of interests.
