Thomas Hoeborn has been appointed as the GM for Conrad Maldives Rangali Island

Bringing nearly four decades of expertise in the hospitality industry, Thomas Hoeborn assumes the role of the new General Manager at Conrad Maldives Rangali Island, marking a significant leap in the resort’s commitment to delivering luxury and innovative guest experiences.

Jamie Mead, the senior director of operations for South East Asia, expressed, “Thomas’ seasoned leadership acumen and track record in luxury hospitality will significantly contribute to further solidifying Conrad Maldives Rangali Island’s leadership position in the competitive luxury market of the Maldives. With his deep-rooted understanding of the Conrad brand ethos, we are confident that Conrad Maldives Rangali Island will continue to excel and remain the preferred luxury hotel for thoughtful, purposeful, and conscientious travelers visiting this inspiring destination.”

Having previously overseen operations in Central China, including the renowned 728-room Conrad Shanghai, Hoeborn served as the Area General Manager. His career includes leadership roles in Hilton properties across Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan, Japan, and Thailand, with a notable tenure as General Manager at the acclaimed Conrad Hong Kong.
