Above Eleven Dubai welcomes Alex Park as the new General Manager

Above Eleven Dubai, the Nikkei rooftop restaurant, lounge, and bar located at Marriott Palm Jumeirah, has announced the appointment of a new General Manager. Alex Park has joined this iconic venue with breathtaking views of Palm West Beach, Ain Dubai, and Palm Jumeirah to oversee its operations. Prior to joining Above Eleven, Park played a pivotal role in the pre-opening phase of Josette restaurant in DIFC.

Park’s journey in the hospitality industry commenced in 2014 with an internship at Bulgari Hotel in London, followed by four years with Four Seasons Hotels. During the pandemic, Park ventured to Dubai, contributing to the Arts Club in DIFC.

In his new role, Park will be responsible for all facets of Above Eleven Dubai, including the dining experience, cocktails, and service. Collaborating with Chef de Cuisine Luis Gavancho, he aims to introduce seasonal menus, enhance team training initiatives, and oversee the implementation of interactive services and entertainment.

Park’s leadership style prioritizes people, emphasizing team growth and empowering associates to create memorable guest experiences, as shared by Above Eleven Dubai.

“In my new role at Above Eleven, I am presented with the opportunity to channel my energy into this vibrant and culturally captivating location. As soon as you step into the venue, you can feel the immersive Peruvian rhythm, the New York-inspired soul, and of course, the all-important Japanese precision and influence. The setting provides the perfect journey into cuisine and craftsmanship,” expressed Park.
