Ibis and ibis Styles India enhance their leadership team by appointing Tejus Jose as the Director of Operations

In this role, Tejus will be responsible for overseeing the operations of 21 hotels situated across 14 cities in India.

Tejus Jose has joined the role of Director of Operations for ibis and ibis Styles India, a pivotal portfolio within the esteemed Accor Hotels group. As a seasoned professional, Jose is set to leverage his expertise to shape and guide the operational landscape, marking a significant chapter for both him and the dynamic hospitality brand.

In his new capacity, Jose will be responsible for overseeing operations at 21 hotels situated across 14 cities in India. This announcement follows closely on the heels of the recent introduction of ibis Styles Goa Vagator, the latest property resulting from the collaboration between InterGlobe Hotels and Accor.

With a remarkable career spanning over 23 years in the hospitality sector, Jose brings a wealth of experience to the role. His diverse expertise encompasses hotel management, sales, and marketing, with notable contributions to premier hospitality companies and international brands. Before joining ibis, he served as the General Manager at the inaugural Hilton in Bengaluru, the Hilton Bangalore Embassy GolfLinks. Having been one of the first employees of Accor in India, he initially started at the iconic Hyderabad International Convention Centre and later managed several Accor hotels as General Manager.

Jose’s professional journey has seen him assume various roles, from Sales Manager to leading operations at renowned hotels in cities such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Kochi, Ahmedabad, and Hyderabad. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta, specializing in Strategy, Jose’s appointment signals a new era of leadership and growth for ibis & ibis Styles India, promising elevated guest experiences and operational excellence.
