THE LEELA GANDHINAGAR USHERS IN CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES WITH CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING CEREMONY

Gandhinagar, December 2022: The Leela Gandhinagar, the ultimate luxury hospitality destination in the twin cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar, ushered in the Christmas festivities with the Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony in the presence of several guests and patrons.

Tree Lighting is a ceremony that traditionally marks the start of Yuletide celebrations and spreads cheer and joy throughout the community. It has always been an ideal social gathering to share the festive exuberance, an element has stayed constant.

Keeping up to the spirit of this special ceremony, the team at The Leela Gandhinagar curated a traditional Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony with elaborate arrangements.

The hotel dawned a festive look with an innovative gingerbread house that is also retailing Christmas goodies such as stolen bread, chocolates, and Christmas-themed cakes, to name a few. Carols sung by a local choir group set the mood for the evening. At sunset, guests joined hands to light the Christmas tree to begin the Christmas celebrations. The ceremony was followed by a scrumptious hi-tea at Moksha Lounge, along with a range of handpicked savoury and sweet dishes crafted for the special occasion by Executive Chef Kapil Dubey
and his team.

“Christmas Tree Lighting kicks off the holiday season, and we are delighted that our guests could join us in this traditional ceremony. Christmas is a great time to be with friends and family, especially over good food. The Leela’s culinary experiences are unmatched, and we look forward to wowing food lovers from the twin cities of Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar with authentic Christmas recipes during the celebrations we have lined up for Christmas and the New Year,” said Jaideep Anand, Vice President and General Manager, The Leela Gandhinagar.

The Christmas Tree lighting is a precursor to The Leela Gandhinagar’s elaborate Christmas dinner on December 24 and Christmas brunch on December 25, followed by New Year’s Eve celebrations.
