Madurai, 19 November 2022: Fortune Pandiyan Hotel, a member of ITC’s hotel group, organizes the ‘Flavours of Rajasthan’ food festival at its multi-cuisine restaurant Orchid to celebrate the rich heritage of Rajasthan. This is a showcase of Fortune Pandiyan Hotel’s collaboration with the Department of Tourism, Government of Rajasthan and UNESCO for strengthening intangible cultural heritage-based tourism.
The 3-day food festival exhibits Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage through authentic food and performances by Bacchu Khan Langa of Kalunath Kalbelia and his team, acclaimed artists from Barmer and Jodhpur. The curator of culinary delights for this festival is Chef Sandeep Shah, bringing across the popular and fiery dishes from Rajasthan.

The menu is delicately prepared to represent the Royal Rajasthani flavours through dishes like Laal Maas, Ker Sangri, Mohan Maas, Dal Batti Churma, Kalmi Wada, Methi Mathiri, Gatti ki sabzi, Khargosh ki biryani, Kalakand and Mawa Kesari and Lassi to name a few.
