The Westin Mumbai Garden City is pleased to announce the recent appointment of Moize Rocqueas the Director of Sales and Marketing for the property.
A diligent persona, Moize has many accolades to his name, with the diversity of his luminous career spanning over 14 years of rich experience in his domain. Prior to joining The Westin Mumbai Garden City, Moize was associated with opening The Ritz-Carlton, Pune as Director of Sales and assisted in positioning the hotel as the new luxury destination. He started his career as a Management Trainee – Sales with Novotel Hyderabad & HICC, after which he moved to Ibis and Novotel Bangalore as a Sales Manager. He then successfully climbed up the ladder to being an Accounts Director and opening the Aloft Cessna Business Park and has been a vital part of brands like The Leela Palaces, Accor, and of course Marriott International.
His extensive expertise in various roles across Sales – Unit, Pre-Opening, Global Sales and MICE segment would contribute in his new role to oversee and head all operations across various specialties of Sales and Marketing. Moize will be responsible for optimizing the hotel revenue performances and business development verticals. And will also be strategizing very closely with the food and beverage team to enhance their visibility and drive the reputation of the hotel. His new position will see him taking on a further leadership role, leading a dynamic team as well as tactically assisting the marketing roadmap for the hotel.
Moize can be well described as an ardent learner and visionary, bringing along a wealth of experience in the industry. He has been instrumental in driving the strategic business direction to great heights.
