Dinesh Maan has been appointed as the Director of Food and Beverage at Goa Marriott Resort and Spa.
Being an Army Brat, Dinesh Maan has spent his childhood in Boarding school since he was an 8-year-old. He did his schooling at Army Public School Dagshai, Solan (Himachal) from 05th to 12th Standard.
After coming out of school, and having an interest in travel and tourism he decided to do hotel management. He joined NIHM (National Institute of Hotel Management), Dehradun for a B.SC. In Hospitality and tourism for 3 years.
Started his career with Taj Palace, New Delhi as an associate and grew up the ladder to Director of Food and Beverage within 13 years of his stint. Mr. Maan has worked with renowned hotels like Taj, Oberois, and Marriott in past
Currently working with Goa Marriott Resort and Spa, he will be responsible for supervising the five Food and Beverage outlets, 14,144 sq.ft Banqueting space and In-Room Dining and Minibar for 190 rooms and for the overall functioning, marketing, and revenues of the entire Food and Beverage division and leading a team of 61 team members.
In his current profile, Mr. Maan will responsible for the seamless functioning of the Food and Beverage departments and employees in sync with the international brand standards while ensuring client satisfaction. He also assists in the preparation and execution of the Annual Food and Beverage Business Plan and marketing strategies for the overall hotel and individual outlets. He is also personally involved in the recruitment, training, and motivation of the Food and Beverage team.
His last stint was with Conrad, Pune as Director of Food and Beverage where he set many records for Conrad and established Food and Beverage to the top for Pune Market.
In times of leisure, Dinesh enjoys keeping abreast with the developments in the International Food and Beverage Scene and is passionate about catching up with the latest movies and spending quality time with family.
