Kolkata, May 6th 2022: Lu cuisine, also known as Shandong cuisine, is regarded as the premier of the Eight Culinary Traditions of China. It is derived from the native cooking style of Shandong Province; a northern coastal province of China. The esteemed culinary team of Nori at The Westin, Kolkata, Rajarhat, is all set to bring the unique flavours of Lu cuisine to Kolkata from 6th May to 14th May 2022. With an extraordinary panoramic view of the cityscape and an alluring upscale ambience, Nori is sure to be the perfect venue for an authentic experience of this celebrated cuisine.
It will feature a handcrafted menu including baos, hot appetizers, flat top grills and more. Patrons can choose from delicious appetizers like ‘Liu Pepper Chicken’ and ‘Umami Roasted Potatoes’, followed by assorted dimsums like ‘Jiaodong Seafood Dumpling’ and ‘Corn Nut Dumplings’. A special course, characteristic to the cuisine, is Spread of ka (grills) accompanied by sauces. The main course boasts of dishes like the ‘Dezhou Braised Chicken’ and ‘Exotic Taisan Vegetables’, among many more. The chefs will also prepare a selection of exquisite desserts to complement the meal, like ‘Candy Sweet Potatoes’ and ‘Black Sesame Steamed Cake’. This menu will be served between 7pm to 11pm.
