Toni Mazzurana named F&B manager at Emirates Palace

Emirates Palace – one of the UAE capital’s most opulent hotels – has named its new F&B manager. Toni Mazzurana steps into the iconic five-star with a raft of experience behind him, including stints with Jumeirah Group and Bulgari Hotels and Resorts.

Clearly no stranger to the upper echelons of hospitality, Mazzurana began in 2011 as a waiter within the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah. Working at the hotel’s Al Muntaha Restaurant as a waiter for a year, he was promptly promoted to team leader and then assistant manager by 2014.

In 2016, he became assistant manager of the restaurant and later assistant manager of Nathan Outlaw at al Mahara. He left the hotel in 2017 to work with Bulgari Resort Dubai as its yacht club manager until 2018. Here, he managed the pre-opening of three F&B outlets, along with banqueting.

In 2018, he started his first role with Mandarin Oriental at its Dubai hotel. He served as restaurant GM of The Bay from 2018 to 2020, overseeing 270 covers. He now returns to the upmarket Hong Kong operator as F&B manager of Emirates Palace.
