Grand Hyatt Goa has elevated Elvis Pereira as the new Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the expansive 28 acre resort. Elvis has been a part of the Grand Hyatt Goa team since 2015 when he moved back to Goa after working across several hotels in Mumbai and Madya Pradesh.
Elvis’s journey at Grand Hyatt Goa began as the Restaurant Manager overseeing the busy operations of the day dining restaurant, The Dining Room and Confeitaria, the Coffee Bar. The key highlights of The Dining Room being the launch and implementation of the ever popular Wicked Liquid Sunday Brunch.
Elvis then moved to the Events team, managing all banquet events that included some of the largest conference and weddings in the state of Goa. In his new role, Elvis will be responsible for ensuring the smooth Food and Beverage operations of the seven outlets at the property. He will also lead the team and maximise the productivity of his staff, whilst maintaining the high quality service standards. In addition to the restaurants, Elvis’s portfolio will be focused on handling the seamless operations of MICE and social events.
With over 14 years of experience in the industry Elvis will continue to work with a customer oriented approach setting standards and quality measures.
In his leisure time, Elvis enjoys travelling and exploring new destinations; he is also avid runner and is seen participating in marathons across state and most importantly maintaining a healthy work life balance with enough time for family.
