Rahul Sharma has been appointed as the General Manager at Le Meridien Jaipur Resort & Spa. He comes with two decades of experience in the hospitality industry. With his approachable persona and extensive knowledge of the sector, he is set to lead his team to superlative success. With a sharp industry acumen, Rahul has been duly acknowledged for his leadership skills, innovative strategies, and pursuit to persistently achieve goals for the organisation’s developments.
Prior to this role he was the Hotel Manager for Courtyard by Marriott Amritsar since 2019. He has spearheaded various initiatives that result in enhanced guest and associate experiences; along with financial profitability during and after the launch of the hotel. Above all his primary objective at the property is to run seamless operations and deliver stellar levels of guest service.
A seasoned hotelier, Rahul has a proven record of being quick to embrace change and exudes qualities of an ideal mentor by managing his associates with compassion. Rahul is a strategic-thinker who has accomplished himself in excelling guest satisfaction, revenue growth, brand compliance, and directing sales & distribution teams to success and profitability for hotels and resorts internationally.
Having donned many hats during his tenure in the hospitality industry, he regularly hones his skills by taking up online courses. His subjects of interest are diverse and enlightening. Be it to understand the F&B management through insights on the industry, brands, and growth strategies from University Bocconi, Italy; or to recognise the Fundamental of Revenue Management & Fundamentals Hotel Distribution from ESSEC Business School, France.
Rahul has been preceded by an illustrious career. Rahul holds a Master’s in Business Administration in Sales and Marketing from Karnataka State Open University, Mysore.
