Ahmed Didi is an experienced sales and marketing professional with a demonstrated history of working in the hospitality industry over the years. He has been appointed as the Director of Sales and Marketing at Dhigufaru Island Resort as of 1st April 2022.
Ahmed Didi started his career as a Front Office Receptionist at Embudu Village in 1995. He completed his bachelor’s of Business in Tourism Management at Maldives National University and since then worked at well-known hotel chains in the Maldives.
Before joining Dhigufaru Island Resort, Ahmed Didi worked at Adaaran properties as a Corporate Manager, Sales and Reservations, and represented the properties at several international fairs worldwide. He also worked at a local DMC at Lets go Maldives and then joined Dhigufaru Island Resort as a Sales & Marketing Manager in 2018.
Ahmed Didi has contributed to the Maldives Tourism Industry in the past 25 years and he is known for his skills in negotiation, business planning, customer relationship management, and tourism trade.
