We congratulate Harshit Dhawan for his recent promotion as Front Office Manager at JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai.
Harry joined Marriott as a Rooms Controller at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront in 2012, following which he was promoted to Front Office Supervisor. In 2014, Harry moved to Dubai to join JW Marriott Marquis Hotel Dubai as Front Desk Supervisor.
Harry was then instrumental in driving guest experience and placed much focus on training the team. With Harry’s can do attitude and strategic approach he was promoted to Front Desk Manager in 2017 where he successfully led the Rooms control team.
In 2018, Harry got a great opportunity to be part of the pre opening team at The Westin Desaru Coast in Malaysia where he successfully led the Front Office and Reservations team. In Dec 2020, Harry came back to JWMM as Assistant Front Office Manager where he successfully led the Front Office team to a green balance scorecard.
Harry’s vision and strategy created many opportunities for incremental revenue, guest satisfaction scores to increase whilst managing to save significant costs. Under his leadership, the Front Office department managed to successfully open and achieve great GuestVoice scores.
Harry in his current role will be overlooking Front Desk and Rooms Control team.
