The Green Affair is a premium vegan restaurant located in Breach Candy, a niche premium restaurant in South Bombay. India’s first vegan party destination helmed by Ankit Mundra & Diksha Mundra, The Green Affair spans two floors including an indoor and rooftop area, serving healthy, clean, European & American cuisines, complemented by a selection of curated signature vegan cocktails

A first-of-its-kind vegan restaurant with 100 percent natural ingredients serves up delectable plates to its patrons. Under the direction of Head Chef Rakesh Manchandani, diners can enjoy a meal that begins with tapas & starters such as Cauliflower Olio, Glazed Ravioli, Zucchini Fries, Asian Meatball Skewers, Truffled Mushroom Bruschetta, Lamb Shish and progresses to mains such as Jackfruit Crepe, Sri Lankan curry, Asian bowl Prawns, Tofu Cream with Sticky Rice. The Green Affair also has a variety of vegan Salads, Tacos, Burgers, Wraps, Pizzas and Pasta on offer. Last but not least, one can indulge in sweet treats from their vegan dessert menu, including a Panna Cotta and Custard Apple Tart. The restaurant offers varied dishes in Mock Meat such as Mock Meat Tacos, Not So Meat Burger, Non-Chicken Shawarma, to name a few. If desired, the restaurant also provides a Jain menu as well as Gluten-free options to choose from.

The cocktail menu at The Green Affair, also 100% vegan, features classic cocktails such as Whiskey Sour, Old Fashion, Bloody Mary, Tequila Sunrise as well as specially crafted natural cocktails such as Japanese Marry – a twist on Bloody Marry with Thai & Japanese Spice; Spice La Pina – White Rum Infused Jalapeno shaken with Fresh Pineapple Juice & served with a Hibiscus Float; Raichi Wasabi – Inhouse Galangal Syrup with Wasabi, Litchi  & Gin; Thick Chick – Tamarind Puree & Whiskey With Cinnamon Smoke; Green Apple & Celery Daiquiri – Cold Pressed Green Apple & Celery Juice with Rum, to name a few. The restaurant makes its Baileys in-house which is also vegan and even the Wine selection is curated keeping in mind the vegan aspect of the restaurant.

An all-day dining restaurant by the day offering a casual dining ambiance, the evenings at The Green Affair transforms the space into a cocktail bar best suited for dancing the night away. Apart from being a 100% vegan restaurant, The Green Affair is a sustainable space that avoids any use of plastic.

Commenting on the launch, Ankit Mundra, Director, The Green Affair said, “As my wife & I have been vegans for the last 3 and a half years, the start of this journey began with a simple yet desperate need of enjoying Mumbai’s party scene without having to compromise on the food. And though there are places that do offer vegan food, the party vibe is amiss with only a cafe feel left behind. It was then we realized and decided we needed to make a change, being the first. Thus, we got working, and today, we are glad to see The Green Affair, Mumbai’s first premium vegan dining restaurant with an in house bakery that not only bakes its own bread but also offers gluten-free products, and an irresistible cocktail menu that’s vegan too! We’re very excited and can’t wait to show guests what we have in store for them.”

“The Green Affair is a labour of love and not just a business proposition for us. We set out to curate a space that would not only offer clean food & drinks options but also offers curated experiences to propagate the vegan lifestyle. Ankit & I designed the entire space and I’ve been personally involved in curating the menu along with the in-house sauces and dips such as vegan mayonnaise, sour cream, etc used in varied dishes. Food is such an integral part of both our lives and we have tried to translate the same at The Green Affair,” adds Diksha Mundra, Director, The Green Affair.

The Green Affair hosts regular events, artist performances, brunches, sundowners and more. 

The Green Affair is compliant to all government regulations and follows all sanitary protocols while providing a COVID-safe dining experience to all guests. The restaurant ensures that the staff too undergoes health checks and temperature checks to assure the health and safety of everyone.
