Marriott International, Pune has recently appointed Ankita Bhawsinka as the Cluster Senior Marketing Communications Manager. In this role, Ankita will be responsible for driving the marketing strategies for The Ritz-Carlton, Pune, J.W. Marriott Hotel Pune, Marriott Suites, Pune and Courtyard Pune Hinjewadi – sustaining all the hotel’s brand positioning, drive brand visibility and create invigorating marketing campaigns aligned with the goals for the Hotels, and their celebrated F&B venues and signature spa.
An avid marketer and PR professional with over 9 years of experience in industries spanning from media and timeshare to hospitality, Ankita is an alumnus of Symbiosis International University, having completed an MBA in Marketing and Finance.
Prior to her current role, Ankita was heading the marketing & communications for Hyatt Regency Pune, including during the tumultuous phase of the pandemic. Highlights of her tenure with Hyatt included the launch of a new restaurant, establishing the positioning of the Hotel among pet-friendly segment, revive the social events positioning and develop popup concepts based on design thinking process. She has previously worked with Marriott International at Sheraton Grand Bangalore Hotel at Brigade Gateway and managed brands like D Décor and SBI while working in media planning & buying in Mumbai.
Passionate about identifying opportunities to build brand success stories, Ankita is an avid traveler, food enthusiast, movie buff and enjoys reading in her leisure time.
