In his new role, Wael will oversee the operation and business strategies of the 401-rooms hotel primely located on Sheikh Zayed Road. So far, Wael has been managing the taking over and rebranding of the hotel since his joining.
Wael has over 28 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry and was earlier General Manager of many brands and established hotels such as Grand Excelsior Hotel Bur Dubai, Ramada By Wyndham Jumeirah, First Central Hotel Al Barsha Heights, Hawthorne Suites By Wyndham JBR, Ramada Downtown to name few. Originally from Tunisia, Wael started his career back in 1993 as Sales Executive in the Golden Tulip El Mechtel a large business and convention hotel in the heart of Tunis.
Commenting on his appointment, Wael stated, “I am honored to contribute to the creation of this new hotel brand ‘’The Tower Plaza Hotel’’. I have long admired the hotel’s imposing façade, great facilities and excellent reputation as one of Dubai’s iconic hotels.
I look forward to working with my team to position the hotel as a leading 5* property on Sheik Zayed road, create a new service culture “Proudly Serving You’’, improve the performance and continue our mission in offering our guests an enjoyable experience.”
