Hilton Guam Resort & Spa announced Wednesday the appointment of Sheila Baker as director of business development and the promotion of Donna R. Wong to marketing communications manager.
Baker will lead the sales, marketing and revenue teams to explore new business opportunities. She will be responsible for growing the hotel’s portfolio through developing new strategies and expanding existing business, according to a news release from the company.
Baker has more than 20 years experience in sales and marketing, and has directed accounts focused on corporate, military, government and Asia Pacific market segments. Her expertise includes the strategic selling and positioning of the Hilton Guam Resort & Spa in various markets. Baker has worked in sales and marketing at the hotel, as well as a local broadcasting company in 2008. She is a graduate of business management from De La Salle University.
