The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace appoints Prasanna Venkatesh as F&B Director

Prasanna Venkatesh has joined The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace as F&B Director. He has over 15 years of industry experience across India, Maldives and Dubai. 

Prior to his integration at the Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, he was the Head of Operations and was responsible for the pre-opening of multiple venues at Expo 2020, Dubai. He also headed the F&B Operations for Hilton Hotels & Resorts and Westin Hotels in Dubai. Some of the other brands that he has led include Cheval Blanc by LVMH, Taj Dubai, Six Senses Soneva Gili Maldives, Kanuhura by Sun Resorts Mauritius, Hyatt Regency Chennai, Velassaru Maldives and The Oberoi Udaivilas.

Venkatesth has successfully achieved and exceeded budget goals throughout his tenure at various brands and always assisted in yielding overall profitability for the hotel. His in-depth knowledge and experience in the industry has led him to opening multiple venues and handling brand transitions of international brands. 

At The Westin Hyderabad Mindspace, he will be responsible for the entire F&B operations while heightening and streamlining systems and procedures. In addition, he will overlook the strategies and business plans for all F&B outlets as well as events and conferences spaces.

A WSET Level 2 Sommelier, he pursued his education from India with an Executive MBA from the Indian School of Management and Studies. An avid learner of new market trends in hospitality, his interests lie in sports, traveling and photography. He is also a fitness enthusiast and those who know him, could vouch for it as one of his innate qualities.
