Ahead of its highly anticipated opening, Hilton Bahrain City Centre Hotel & Residences has announced the appointment of Hassan El Wahidi as General Manager.
With a distinguished hospitality career spanning over 35 years, El Wahidi brings extensive experience in pre-openings, luxury resorts, and complex mixed-use developments across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. His leadership has been instrumental in shaping several landmark Hilton properties including Hilton Paris Charles de Gaulle, Hilton Cannes, Hilton Mauritius Resort & Spa, Hilton Doha The Pearl Hotel & Residences, and Hilton Salwa Beach Resort & Villas — one of the region’s largest resort destinations.
El Wahidi also led a six-year, large-scale mixed-use Hilton development in Dubai, seamlessly integrating hospitality, retail, and lifestyle elements into a dynamic urban destination. Renowned for driving operational excellence, nurturing diverse teams, and redefining guest experiences, he brings a global perspective to Hilton’s newest property in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Rising above the capital’s skyline, Hilton Bahrain City Centre Hotel & Residences will feature 594 residential-style studios, suites, and penthouses, each with fully equipped kitchens, catering to both short- and long-stay guests. The hotel will also offer four restaurants and lounges, multiple swimming pools, a spa and wellness centre with a state-of-the-art fitness facility, Kids and Teens Clubs, and panoramic views of Manama and the Arabian Gulf.
