The St. Regis Goa Resort is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr. Ankit Kumar as the resort’s new Beverage Manager.
Ankit brings with him a strong foundation in luxury beverage operations and a proven record of curating refined guest experiences. He began his hospitality journey in 2019 as a Management Trainee with IHG Hotels & Resorts, and over the years has held key roles across India’s leading luxury hotels, including The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts and The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore.
In his most recent role as Beverage Manager (Pre-Opening) at The Leela Hyderabad, Ankit was instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing an innovative beverage program that celebrated craftsmanship, creativity, and cultural authenticity. Prior to this, he successfully led Bengaluru’s iconic rooftop bar BANG at The Ritz-Carlton, which under his leadership earned the Times Food & Nightlife Award 2024 for Best Bar – Nightlife Category, and The Market restaurant, which received the EazyDiner Foodie Award 2023 for Best All-Day Dining Restaurant in a Hotel.
Ankit is also a certified beverage expert, holding Level 1, 2, and 3 certifications from the Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET), London, underscoring his deep understanding of global wines and spirits. His expertise, innovation, and passion for creating immersive beverage journeys align seamlessly with the signature sophistication and bespoke experiences that define The St. Regis brand.
