With over 25 years of experience across India and Nepal, Prakash brings a rich legacy of leadership with iconic hospitality brands including Oberoi, Marriott, Sterling Holidays, and The Leela. His career highlights include launching Marriott’s first property in Nepal and managing landmark hotels such as Trident Gurgaon and Trident Chennai, showcasing a deep commitment to excellence in hospitality.
Prakash’s expertise spans hotel pre-openings, refurbishments, and turnarounds, with a consistent focus on revenue growth, guest satisfaction, and brand integrity. In his recent role as Asset Manager at Pioneer Holiday Resorts Limited – Hyderabad (the owning company of The Leela), he was closely involved in strategic negotiations and value maximization for high-impact projects.
Starting his career in the kitchens at The Leela and rising through the ranks to become a seasoned General Manager, Prakash is recognized for his ability to balance operational precision with heartfelt hospitality. He is also a passionate mentor, committed to nurturing talent and building high-performing teams.
A lifelong learner, Prakash recently completed a General Management Certification from ISB Hyderabad, where he worked on projects exploring consumer behaviour and food innovation.
Prakash joins The Residency Hotels with a clear vision to elevate guest experiences, empower teams, and drive growth across the brand’s portfolio.
