Hyatt Regency Chennai is pleased to announce the promotion of Mr. Prajeesh Nair to Associate Director of Rooms. With more than 20 years of hospitality experience and a proven record of elevating guest services, Mr. Nair brings seasoned leadership and operational expertise to this key role.
Since joining the hotel in December 2021 as Front Desk Manager, Mr. Nair has advanced through the ranks—most recently serving as Front Office Manager—demonstrating exceptional skill in service excellence, brand program management, and team development.
During his tenure, he has led the property to record scores in brand quality audits, strengthened guest satisfaction across multiple platforms, and implemented initiatives that reduced staff attrition while boosting morale. His strategic approach has also driven loyalty program growth, introduced innovative resource-optimization measures, and enhanced associate training to foster career progression.
As Associate Director of Rooms, Mr. Nair will oversee Front Office, Spa, and Housekeeping operations, ensuring world-class service in line with Hyatt’s global standards while focusing on guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and profitability.
