Le Méridien Dubai Hotel & Conference Centre has appointed Juan Manuel Ovalles Urbina as Restaurant Manager for Beef Bistro and Bebemos, two of the property’s most vibrant dining destinations.

Bringing more than eight years of hospitality experience across Dubai, Qatar, and Bahrain, Juan offers deep expertise in restaurant pre-openings, operations, and guest-experience enhancement. His career spans acclaimed Latin American fine-dining concepts and contemporary lounges, where he has consistently elevated service standards and team performance.

Juan has held key leadership roles at Toro Toro by Richard Sandoval in Grosvenor House Dubai, Circa Modern South American Cuisine & Lounge in Bahrain, and Maya Mexican Restaurant & Bar in Doha. At each venue, he distinguished himself through innovative promotions, memorable guest engagement, and a talent for cultivating high-performing, multicultural teams.

In his new role, Juan will focus on strengthening the reputation of Beef Bistro, Dubai’s celebrated French steakhouse, and Bebemos, the hotel’s lively Spanish tapas and beverage hub—further enhancing their appeal to both residents and international travelers.
