Minor Hotels has announced the appointment of Ahmad Shaban Fernandez as Cluster General Manager for NH Collection Dubai The Palm and Dukes The Palm, a Royal Hideaway Hotel, effective August 1, 2025.
Located on the iconic Palm Jumeirah, the two properties together offer 1,097 keys and are positioned along the vibrant Palm West Beach, with direct access to the beachfront promenade and close proximity to Dubai’s key attractions.
In his new role, Fernandez will oversee operations and strategic direction for both hotels, with a particular focus on repositioning Dukes The Palm to strengthen its market presence. His leadership will be central to driving operational synergies between the two properties, enhancing guest experiences, and expanding dining and lifestyle offerings.
This appointment reflects Minor Hotels’ strategic commitment to strengthening its footprint in the Middle East. Alongside NH Collection Dubai The Palm and Dukes The Palm, the group’s Palm Jumeirah portfolio also includes Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort and Avani+ Palm View Dubai Hotel & Suites, bringing its total key count on the island to 1,771.
