Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun has announced the appointment of Dev Thakur as its new Hotel Manager, effective 25th August 2025. With more than two decades of experience in the hospitality industry, Thakur brings extensive operational expertise and a strong focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences to the role.
Thakur began his career in Food & Beverage operations, gaining valuable experience across fine dining restaurants as well as large-scale catering. His professional journey soon advanced into leadership positions with some of the world’s most prestigious hospitality brands, including The Leela Palaces Hotels & Resorts, Hyatt International, Hilton Hotels, and Accor Hotels. Having worked across luxury, business, and resort properties, he has developed a holistic understanding of diverse hospitality landscapes.
In his most recent role as Director of Food & Beverage at JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, Thakur was instrumental in strengthening the hotel’s dining portfolio, elevating guest satisfaction, mentoring teams, and driving key business outcomes. His efforts were widely recognized for enhancing operational efficiency and curating elevated culinary experiences.

His leadership is expected to play a pivotal role in positioning Fairfield by Marriott Dehradun as a trusted choice for both business and leisure travelers in the region.
Outside of work, Thakur enjoys exploring new destinations and is an avid chess enthusiast.
