Hyatt Regency Kolkata has announced the elevation of Sabyasachi Chakravorty to the position of Director of Sales, marking a significant step in his career with the brand.
Sabyasachi, who joined Hyatt Regency Kolkata as Associate Director of Sales in April 2023, has played a pivotal role in driving the property’s commercial performance, strengthening client relationships, and positioning the hotel as a preferred destination for both business and leisure travelers.
With over 15 years of diverse experience in the hospitality industry, Sabyasachi brings strong expertise across key markets including New Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, and Kolkata. His career journey spans leading hospitality brands such as Swissôtel, IHCL, Accor, Columbia Asia, and the Marriott where he last served as Senior Sales Manager – MICE before moving back to Hyatt.
An alumnus of IIM Calcutta, where he pursued the Executive Program in Sales & Marketing, Sabyasachi has consistently demonstrated excellence in driving sales strategies, client engagement, and MICE business development.
