The iconic Taj West End, Bengaluru, a jewel in Indian Hotels Company’s (IHCL) portfolio, has announced the appointment of Taronish Karkaria as its new General Manager. A seasoned hospitality leader with over two decades of experience across luxury hotels, Taronish steps into this prestigious role with a wealth of expertise and a vision to elevate the legendary property’s guest experience.
Over the course of his career, Taronish has been associated with some of the most celebrated hotels within IHCL. He began his journey at The Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai, and went on to hold senior roles at Taj Lands End, Mumbai and Taj Palace, New Delhi, where he served as Director of Operations. Most recently, he spearheaded the pre-opening of Taj Gandhinagar Resort & Spa as General Manager, where he was lauded for his ability to integrate luxury service with innovative guest experiences.
Known for his operational acumen, sharp revenue strategies, and ability to build high-performance teams, Taronish has consistently delivered excellence in every assignment. His career reflects a deep commitment to IHCL’s legacy of hospitality while embracing innovation to meet the evolving needs of modern travelers.
