JW Marriott Pune is pleased to announce the appointment of Rahul Gautam as its new Director of Operations. With an extensive background in the hospitality industry, Rahul brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role.
Rahul’s journey in hospitality has been remarkable, starting from his tenure as Food and Beverage Manager where he significantly contributed to the growth of various outlets. His dedication and efficiency led to his promotion to Director of Food and Beverage, a role he fulfilled with distinction for four and a half years. During his time at The Leela, Rahul spearheaded the launch of Club Cuba, a popular poolside lounge, and revitalized two specialty restaurants, Dilli 32 and Mei Kun, both of which became prominent features of the hotel.
Notably, Rahul skillfully managed the banqueting operations at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, overseeing one of North India’s largest pillarless ballrooms. In 2022, he was elevated to the position of Director of Operations, where he effectively managed all core operational departments for the property.
Before his tenure at The Leela Ambience Convention Hotel, Rahul held esteemed positions at luxury establishments in the United Kingdom and India, including The Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, The Taj Mahal, Shangri-la Delhi, and Oberoi Cecil.
Outside of work, Rahul’s passion for travel and the culinary arts shines through. He enjoys exploring the vibrant food and beverage scene of the city, constantly seeking out new and authentic culinary experiences.
